Applications of FGM800 CNC Gear Form Grinding Machine
FGM800 CNC gear form grinding machine is a precision metal-cutting machine mainly used for grinding high precision cylindrical gears in heavy-duty machinery transmission, suitable for industries such as metallurgy, mine, locomotive, shipping, chemical industry, generating equipment, military, aircraft and spacecraft etc. The form grinding principle, i.e. the section shape of grinding wheel is modified to engage with tooth space, so form grinding can be carried out. Movements and operations of the machine are simple, characterized high machining accuracy, high efficiency, excellent reliability, good stability, high automation, full CNC, strong applicability, various machining objects, and flexible gear modification, etc.
 
Features of FGM800 CNC Gear Form Grinding Machine
1. In order to meet the high accuracy and rigidity requirements on machine movement and supporting, each bearing axis (radial movement axis X and carriage movement axis Z of the column, rotation axis C of the circle worktable) employs hydrostatic guideway, which reduces creep and lag when linear rolling guideway bears big loads. The positioning accuracy, especially the dynamic moving accuracy is greatly improved.
2. FGM800 employs constant flow hydrostatic system. The principle is: hydrostatic pump station supplies constant flow hydrostatic oil to each cavity regardless of the load within allowable design range of the machine. Two-stage filtering operation is employed to guarantee the cleanliness of hydrostatic oil during the oil returning process. The hydrostatic pump uses Vogel multi-points gear pump with correct and stable flow. Hydrostatic oil tank employs constant oil temperature control system that can refrigerate and heat, which improve the stability.
3. Other moving guideways employ SCHNEEBERGER high accuracy rolling needle type linear guideway.
4. CNC axes employ fully closed-loop control, and the measuring feedback devices of every axis adopt HEIDENHAIN high precision gratings. CNC system employs NUM1050 servo system with higher accuracy and faster calculation speed, and anti-interruption capability is greatly improved.
5. Small screw pitch leadscrew of 2mm are employed in the dresser to improve motor speed, increase reduction ratio and decrease the moving error of servo motor, reduce the effect on mechanical moving accuracy produced by electric system error and improve moving accuracy of dresser at the same time.
6. Anti-backlash mechanism of circle worktable adopts single worm and hydraulic motor with adjustable force.
7. Random measuring system is supplied with the machine for the convenient adjustment and measurement.
