BGL600 A5 Spiral Bevel Gear Lapping Machine is designed to lap at high speed and precisely the spiral bevel and hypoid gear pairs of diameters up to 600mm, and modify properly the distortions of the gears after the heat treatment. The surface texture after lapping is up to 0.8 and higher, and the positions and sizes of the tooth contact patterns are improved. The gear pairs drive smoothly with low noise, and their load capacity is increased. This machine is suitable for the modifications of gears used on the rear axles after heat treatment for the heavy-duty, medium-sized and light-duty trucks.
 
Main Characteristics of BGL600 A5 Spiral Bevel Gear Lapping Machine
The pinion spindle is the driving spindle, which makes the H (X) movements and the V (Y) movements along the column. The gear spindle is the driven spindle and makes the G (Z) movements. All the V, H and G movements are performed through the precision ball screws driven by servo motors along the linear guideways. Motor spindles are adopted for both the pinion and gear. The speed of such spindles is up to 3000rpm with smooth transmission, high precision and low noise level, thus prolonging the service life of the machine.
A SIEMENS 840D CNC control system is equipped on the machine to perform the simultaneous 3-axis movements, automatic adjustments of the mounting distance, automatic tooth setting and backlash compensation, and the recognitions of burs and collisions. 2~50Nm toque load can be applied through the high-speed and great torque spindle. Thanks to the direct-driving spindle design of the horizontal arrangement, the machine can sustain the dynamic stability at high speed. A high-pressure pneumatic membrane pump is used to spray the lapping compound of 5kg/cm2 pressure on the meshing point at a high speed. The machine is characterized by the shorter lapping time, increased productivity, ultra-high controllable speed at different points. The machine operation is more convenient because of swiveling control panel and more humane man-machine interface. The machine enclosure is nice and safe, and the automatic telescopic safeguard door facilitates the loading and unloading of the workpiece.
