Product usage
FORTUNE PACIFIC milling machine is a versatile machine tool that can machine planes (horizontal, vertical), grooves (keyways, T-slots, dovetails, etc.), splitting parts (gears, spline shafts, sprockets) on the milling machine. Spiral surfaces (threads, spiral grooves) and various curved surfaces. In addition, the mill can also be used to process and cut the surface of the rotor and the inner hole. When the milling machine is working, the workpiece is mounted on the workbench or the indexing head and other accessories. The milling cutter rotates as the main motion, supplemented by the feed motion of the worktable or the milling head, and the workpiece can obtain the required machining surface. Due to the multi-edge interrupted cutting, the productivity of the milling machine is high. Simply put, milling machines are machines that can mill, drill and boring workpieces.

Convert to the horizontal setup by rotating the headstock 180° on the column and installing either of the two included horizontal arbors. Once in the horizontal configuration, you can do gang milling by installing multiple side and face mills on the arbor at one time, which ultimately can save huge amounts of time.
Classification & Definition of the Milling Machine tool, what is milling?
Horizontal Milling Machine
In horizontal milling machine the axis of rotation of the spindle is horizontal to the table. And due the axis of spindle horizontal, it is called as horizontal milling machine.
Vertical Milling Machine
The milling machine in which the spindle axis is perpendicular to the table is called vertical milling machine.
Knee-Type Milling Machine
The milling machine which has a knee like projection at the middle is called knee-type milling machine. It is characterised by a vertical adjustable work table resting on a saddle supported by a knee.
Ram-Type Milling Machine
A milling machine which has a ram on the top of the column is called ram type milling machine. Generally ram is used in vertical milling machine. It can be moved on the column in transverse direction (i.e. in and out when operated from the knee side).
Horizontal and Vertical Mills

Elevator milling machine

Single-column milling machine and single-arm milling machine
The former horizontal milling head can be moved along the column guide rail, and the table can be fed longitudinally; the latter vertical milling head can be moved horizontally along the cantilever rail, and the cantilever can also be adjusted along the column rail. Both are used to machine large parts.
FORTUNE PACIFIC swivel cutter head ram-type milling machine
The cutter head containing the milling machine spindle is attached to the ram. The cutter head can be swiveled from a vertical spindle position to a horizontal spindle position or can be fixed at any desired angular position between vertical and horizontal. The saddle and knee are hand driven for vertical and cross feed adjustment while the worktable can be either hand or power driven at the operator's choice.
