Cylindrical grinder/Cylindrical Grinding Machine is a type of grinding machine used to shape the outside of an object. The cylindrical grinder can work on a variety of shapes, however the object must have a central axis of rotation. This includes but is not limited to such shapes as a cylinder, an ellipse, a cam, or a crankshaft.

The work (object) must be constantly rotating
The grinding wheel must be constantly rotating
The grinding wheel is fed towards and away from the work
Either the work or the grinding wheel is traversed with respect to the other.

Application and features
1. CCG600H Crankshaft Grinder is simple in construction, easy in operation and wide in application; suitable for grinding the crankshaft pins and journals. CCG600H Crankshaft Grinder can also be used as cylindrical grinder;
2. Left and right chucks are crisscross and adjustable;
3. Workpiece is held by centers or by chucks, driven by work head motor, and fed by hand for grinding;
4. Crankshaft Grinder is controlled by mechanical, electric and hydraulic means; operated by hand;
5. Longitudinal worktable travel of Crankshaft Grinder is realized by manual-drive or motor-drive, with the motor-drive for jump displacement or adjustment;
6. Max. adjustable amount of left and right chucks is 110mm in vertical direction;
7. Workpiece, wheel, worktable, coolant pump and oil pump are driven by individual motors;
8. Crankshaft Grinding machine worktable and wheel head have hydraulic and electric interlocking mechanism, ensuring the safety even if disoperation whether in adjustment or in the process of grinding;
